In 1986 Charles Thompson obtained his state license and started Thompson Security.  In 1995 he sold out to his wife Rachelle Thompson (Stanley) who also got her state license. They both began running a woman-owned business together, R. Stanley Security.

Rachelle runs the office and night dispatch center, Charles runs HR, guard training and night Supervisor of guards.
They are both available 24hrs a day, 7 days a week, together they have over 62 years experience in the Security field.  Charles Thompson grew up in Oildale and Bakersfield.  Went to North High School and got his EMT license from Bakersfield College.  Rachelle grew up in Shafter and attended Shafter and South High School.  R. Stanley Security is also a locally, woman-owned business.

Clients have included/include future 500 California International Companies, local companies.  City of Bakersfield, County of Kern, State of California, High Schools, Government, Kevin McCarthy campaign, and Arnold Schwarzenegger campaign.  Events that include radio events such as Alabama, Willie Nelsa attendance of 15,000 to 19,750 attendants.

KC Fair, Mid State Fair Grounds, Bakersfield Convention Center, Fox Theater, Mesa Marin Bakersfield Speedway, Bakersfield Business Conference and provided years of service to the Buck Owens and his family.
